Chiropractic
The manual medicine of reference for back and joint care, chiropractic aims to detect, treat and prevent skeletal dysfunctions and their consequences, particularly at the level of the spine and limbs.
These dysfunctions result in particular in pain or limitation of movement.
Chiropractic is based on a global conception of the functioning of the organism and the relationships existing between the spine, the nervous system and certain health disorders. It thus takes into account the recuperative faculties of the human body.
It is mainly based on acts of joint manipulation and mobilization which can also be called "adjustments".
Chiropractic is therefore a natural, non-drug response, both preventive and curative.
Chiropractic is a regulated profession, the title of chiropractor is reserved for professionals with a diploma approved by the Ministry of Health.
